The expectations for using Vowmate and its future phone-verification service.
These terms are provided as a pre-launch working draft. They require legal and operational review before the app opens to the public, particularly for subscription and dispute-resolution provisions.
1. About Vowmate
Vowmate is a dating experience being developed for meaningful, serious relationships. This website provides information about the planned service; it is not a live public dating service, and launch timing or specific app features may change.
2. Eligibility and accounts
The dating app is intended only for adults aged 18 or older. When registration becomes available, users must provide accurate account information, keep credentials secure, and avoid impersonating others. No user is guaranteed a match or a relationship.
3. Respectful conduct
Users must not harass, threaten, exploit, discriminate unlawfully against, scam, stalk, or impersonate others; share another person's sensitive information without authorization; or upload unlawful or non-consensual content. We may investigate reports and take appropriate account action in line with published community standards.
4. User content and safety
Users remain responsible for information they share. Vowmate may review reported content to enforce safety rules where permitted by law and our privacy policy. Always use caution when communicating with or meeting someone new. Vowmate does not guarantee another user's identity, intentions, or behavior.
5. Paid services
Optional paid features may be introduced in the future. Their final prices, renewal and cancellation terms, purchase channels, and applicable refund rules will be disclosed before purchase and reflected in updated terms.
6. SMS verification program
Program: Vowmate Account Verification. Once activated, Vowmate will send transactional one-time passcodes or essential account-security texts to a phone number when requested by the user. This program is not currently live.
Frequency: Message frequency varies depending on authentication requests and necessary security events. Message and data rates may apply.
Opt out: When the SMS program is active, reply STOP to an applicable Vowmate message to opt out. This may prevent phone-based account verification until the number is re-enabled using an approved process.
Help: When the program is active, reply HELP for available help instructions, or use our support page. The support method and message handling will be tested prior to campaign submission.
